Our objective was to craft an intricate 3D model, incorporating both geometric and attributed data of the components, utilizing the Scan to BIM process. Employing the advanced Leica ScanStation P40, our team collected precise 3D Point Cloud data, enabling the creation of a comprehensive 3D model (Infrastructure Model). This model serves a multitude of purposes, including maintenance, revamp process preparation, design of new production facility systems, and operation simulations for the Steam Boiler Room at PMI – PAPASTRATOS Greece premises.
