The Sludge Finder 2 offers a flexible, accurate, and reliable solution for measuring sludge levels in primary and secondary settling tanks, as well as in Sequencing Batch Reactor (SBR) systems. Using ultrasound through liquid, it employs proven echo processing algorithms to accurately determine the sludge level, powered by the latest digital echo processing technology.

Precision measurement
The Sludge Finder 2 provides reliable and continuous sludge level measurement. The unique Viper ultrasonic sensor is immersed in the liquid, emitting a high-frequency ultrasound pulse towards the sludge surface. The pulse is reflected from the surface of the denser material back to the Viper sensor. This echo is analyzed by the controller, providing a thickness value and an analog (or digital) output proportional to the sludge level above the tank bottom.
